Standard Specification for Welded Titanium and Titanium Alloy Pipe
Scope:
ASTM B862 covers welded titanium and titanium alloy pipe for use in:
General corrosion-resistant applications
Industrial piping systems
Structural, pressure-bearing components
Power generation and chemical processing systems
This specification includes fusion-welded pipes manufactured from flat-rolled titanium and titanium alloy products, with or without filler metal, followed by cold working and annealing.
