AMS 4928-Titanium Alloy, Bars, Forgings, and Stock (Ti-6Al-4V, used for fasteners)

Titanium Alloy, Bars, Wire, Forgings, and Stock for Forgings, 6Al-4V (Ti-6Al-4V), Annealed

AMS 4928 covers Ti-6Al-4V, the most commonly used alpha-beta titanium alloy, in the form of bars, wire, forgings, and forging stock. This specification is intended for aerospace and high-performance structural applications where a high strength-to-weight ratio, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance are critical.
