Titanium Pipe Caps (also called end caps or tube caps) are used to close the end of a titanium pipe, offering sealing, protection, or flow control. Manufactured from high-grade titanium such as Gr1, Gr2, Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V), our caps are ideal for high-performance applications requiring superior corrosion resistance and low weight.
Material Selection
Raw material is selected based on customer’s specifications, typically Titanium Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), or other ASTM B348 billets, seamless tubes, or titanium sheets.
Cutting / Blanking
Depending on the cap type (welded or seamless), titanium plates or tubes are precisely cut to the required diameter and thickness using plasma cutting, waterjet, or saw cutting.
Forming / Shaping
For seamless pipe caps, cold forming or hot forming (hot spinning, stamping, deep drawing) is used to shape the end cap from a titanium blank.
For welded caps, rolled sheet is formed into a dome or hemispherical shape, then welded.
Heat Treatment / Annealing
Caps are stress-relieved or fully annealed at controlled temperatures to ensure improved ductility, strength, and corrosion resistance.
Trimming & Machining
After forming, the cap edges are trimmed to the final size, and CNC machining may be used for precise dimensions, bevels, or threads (if required).
Surface Finishing
Polishing, pickling, or sandblasting is performed to remove oxidation and achieve a clean, uniform surface.
Mirror or matte finish available upon request.
Welding (If Needed)
TIG/GTAW welding is used for joining edges (in welded caps), followed by grinding to ensure seamless appearance.
Inspection & Testing
Visual & dimensional inspection
PMI (Positive Material Identification)
Hydrostatic or air tightness test
Optional: Dye Penetrant, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic Testing

Medical and laboratory equipment
We also provide titanium dished heads, custom-made according to drawings or international standards.
These heads are widely used in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and chemical processing equipment.
They are available in various shapes such as:
Elliptical Heads
Hemispherical Heads
Flat Heads
Torispherical (Flanged and Dished) Heads
Conical or Custom Spun Heads
Materials: Titanium Gr1, Gr2, or as per client specifications.
Manufacturing Process: Hot or cold forming, spinning, machining, and optional heat treatment.
All heads are inspected for dimensions, material quality (PMI), and surface integrity (PT or UT if required).
Individually packed with soft caps on ends.
Wrapped in plastic film.
Export wooden case or plywood box.
Labeling as per PO or customer requirements.
