Product Description

Our Titanium U Tubes are precision-bent seamless titanium tubes designed for heat exchangers and condenser systems. Manufactured from ASTM B338 / B861 compliant titanium, these U-bend tubes offer excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater, chemical, and power generation applications.

Each tube undergoes stress-relief heat treatment after U-bending to prevent cracking and improve service life. Our production supports custom bending radius, tight dimensional tolerances, and various titanium grades, including commercially pure and alloyed types.

Titanium U Tube Production Process

Our Titanium U Tubes are manufactured under strict process control to ensure superior dimensional accuracy, corrosion resistance, and mechanical performance. Below is an overview of our standard production workflow:

Raw Material Inspection

Use of premium quality Titanium seamless tubes, sourced and tested as per ASTM B338 / B861 standards.

Full chemical composition analysis (PMI test) is conducted on each batch.

Cutting & Straightening

Tubes are cut to required lengths based on customer specifications.

Straightening ensures uniformity and facilitates accurate bending.

U Bending

Tubes are bent using CNC-controlled U-bending machines.

Minimum bending radius: 1.5D or per customer drawing.

Internal mandrel used to avoid ovality and wall thinning.

Stress Relief Heat Treatment

All U-bent tubes undergo heat treatment (stress relieving) to restore mechanical properties and eliminate residual stress.

Process is controlled and documented for each batch.

Dimensional Inspection

Leg length, bend radius, and straightness are verified with calibrated measuring tools.

Ovality, wall thinning, and surface finish are strictly checked.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Eddy current testing or ultrasonic testing ensures the integrity of the tube body.

Hydrostatic pressure test available upon request.

Cleaning & Final Surface Treatment

Tubes are pickled, polished, or passivated based on client needs.

Ends are cleaned, capped, and dried to prevent contamination.

Marking & Packing

Each tube is laser-etched or stamped with heat number and grade.

Export packaging in plywood cases with soft padding and separators.

Packing list + material certificate included with each shipment.

Standard Packing Details

Packing Type

Export-grade plywood cases or fumigation-free wooden crates

with protective plastic film and anti-shock cushioning materials.

Tube Protection

Both ends are sealed with plastic caps to prevent contamination.

Tubes are individually wrapped or bundled using foam layers or bubble sheets to avoid surface scratches or deformation.

Crate Dimensions

Custom-designed based on tube length and U-bend radius.

Labeling

Each case is labeled with: Product description, Grade & size, Heat number & batch number, Quantity, Destination country or port.

Loading & Delivery

Container Loading: Carefully loaded and fixed with wooden blocks and straps to prevent movement. Suitable for both LCL and FCL shipments.
