Ti-15V-3Al-3Sn-3Cr is a beta titanium alloy developed for aerospace and high-performance structural applications requiring high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance, and good fabricability in the cold-worked condition. It is often used in thin-gauge aerospace components and can be solution treated and aged (STA) for optimal mechanical properties.
Ti-15-3-3-3 is fully cold formable in the beta condition and responds well to aging, making it suitable for high-strength formed parts like brackets, springs, and stiffeners.
