Grade 5 titanium, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, is an alpha-beta titanium alloy containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. It combines high strength, lightweight, excellent corrosion resistance, and good heat resistance. This makes it the most commonly used titanium alloy in aerospace, medical, marine, and industrial applications.
80-90% of all titanium alloys used worldwide are Grade 5.
